A Catholic Life Coach
Feb 10, 2022Recently, I’ve had several people ask me what I do as a Catholic Life Coach.
The answer is simple! I encourage and equip Catholic women to create strong connections in their marriage and other important relationships so that they can live a happy, healthy, holy life.
Here is how…
In the Catholic Life Coach Academy, I help my clients become aware of their thoughts in order to determine which actions they need to take so that they can move forward. Many times clients find themselves "stuck" because they cannot see how to make progress. All they can see is the ways things have turned out in the past. They desire to strengthen their marriage, their faith life or other important relationships, but are uncertain where to begin. Life coaching opens up an authentic plan of action that helps them to shed the obstacles blocking their success.
I teach my clients simple ways to become aware of their thoughts so they can track them to the current results they have in their personal life, their relationships and their professional life. Every result begins with a thought, but more importantly how they show up in the world through their actions and reactions.
One of the most powerful lessons that I share with my clients is that there are so many ways to “think” about things. It is easy to believe that there is only one answer, but life coaching reveals that there are many possibilities available to them. Sometimes all that is needed is a different perspective to create change.
The Enemy loves to use indecisiveness to keep you stuck and unable to see a different path moving forward. This is counterintuitive to what God desires in our lives. He wants us to move forward in faith knowing that he is always at our side no matter the outcome.
I help clients take an inventory of how they feel on a regular basis. Many times people feel crummy, overwhelmed, stressed or hurt and don’t know why. I help clients recognize that their thoughts create their feelings. In my blog, Why Do I Feel This Way, I give Catholic Educators 3 ways to explore their emotions. We spend so much of our lives blaming how we feel on the world around us.
The GREAT news is that we get to choose how to feel each and every day!
I help clients step out of their comfort zone to live their BEST life. Stepping out of your comfort zone isn't easy, but it is where growth happens. We live in a world that looks at failures as something to be ashamed of when in reality failures create opportunities for learning and growth. This opens up an awareness of who you are, where you want to go and what you need to do to get there.
There is a direct correlation between our thoughts, feelings and actions.
Once we understand this then we open up so many possibilities in our lives. We can build stronger relationships, find freedom from bad habits, live with more confidence, find joy in our daily lives and pursue goals and dreams….the sky is the limit.
